eBay Tripple Pillar Pod

Is anyone using an eBay tripple pillar pod in their 1g? How's the fitment? Anyone have pics of one installed? Thanks in advance!

I've had my eyes on it for awhile. Sadly I can't get it before cars running. I'm definitely keeping an eye here and hoping a user has good words about it.

Well design wise it looks like it would fit flush and work well and we'll mine posses me off. It fits behind the speaker cover and it's a utter bi*** to take apart. No to mention the speaker cover accomplished slightly crushing my plastic boost pressure line. Badly need a electronic one. -_-

I bought one years back. The fitment made it unusable. It required a lot of trimming to get it to look half way decent. Then with the 1g's, at least on mine, it left a weird gap near the seat belt track.

I know ebay seems to be hit or miss and i probably just missed. But thats my experience anyway.

Ever since then i started putting my gauges in the hvac panel.

They work just fine being on the ebay forums for gauge pillar pods, i used one from ebay just didnt have the color i wanted, had to use the screws to hold it in place worked fine.

I bought that glow shift one and it fits perfect and I dident need to cut anything

Here's the grey Glowshift pod, it fits fine. The only small thing I could say that isnt convenient about it is it makes the pillar harder to put back on because you have to jam it into the dashboard part. So it isnt as easy to line up as just the empty OEM pillar is. But other than that it's fine. A little more shiny than the stock plastic but fine otherwise.
