i got the car an the number 3 cylinder is not in good shape so i figured i would re do the whole engine while i had it out

I wouldnt get it. I use the rule if its not a moving part ebay okay but moving parts dont get on ebay. Thats just me.

You'll Hear this more than once, "You get what you pay for" Personally, I would rather have the peace of mind of having good quality parts under the hood. but if you have alot of spare money to throw on risk, go for it and let all of us know. Noone knew Walmart Brand Ketchup was any good untill someone said no to heinz and tried it.

i would just buy everything separate, you wont use half the shit they give you anyways. search the classifieds for a set of pistons and get real OEM stuff. not the "its better than OEM" ebay brands.

No sir. Just buy a rebuild kit from the dealer. They will be OEM tough, and the price isnt bad at all.

I have used Ebay pistons, rings, gaskets, and pumps on low horsepower engines and have never had a problem. The sale sounds like a good deal, call the seller and ask him for more info about the products and who produces them.

I know Slowboy Racing has a rebuild kit for around $500.

I bought the one of ebay for my 1g it was good, just the oem replacement kit though.. but there was no problems cant beat the price neither

Don't Buy it IMA. I used a set of some pistons Just like those and I beleave that they are just a N/A piston with Ceramic coating The Rings I did'nt Relize till down the Road When N/A rings at least, I cracked A Ring land Was'nt ALL the pistons Fault, But They were a $hity Cast....

Just to point something out, I'm 90% sure the two gasket sets there are Topline. Perhaps it's all Topline stuff? Just a thought.

Topline is as good as OEM.
