Do you remember what exactly you used to seal them? Just about anything water-resistant should work I guess.I have them on my car, they may leak after a while because they aren't sealed units like OEM ones. I sealed mine as soon as I got them.
I'm picturing you smearing it around the seam where the lens meets the body, but maybe you took the lens off?
Someone says vinyl protectant for the lens. That doesn't seem proper nor that it would last long. But I also planned to use some kind of sealer on the lens so hopefully the coating doesn't peel. I was thinking some kind of plastic sealant - like the stuff that comes with the expensive headlight restorer kit. It's supposed to be permanent but realistically, it probably only lasts a few years. UV is just nasty. Even still, with the restorer kit at $17, you'd still come out much cheaper than OEM.
