Resolved eBay fuel filter install?

So I got my eBay fuel filter in. Does anyone know which side should be the feed? The filter is pressed onto the top section but it's only held on by an O ring, I can take the filter right off by hand. So I'm thinking if I feed the fuel into that side it might blow the filter right off????

Typically, you would install a filter like this having the fitting with the filter going to the fuel rail. So, in the picture you posted for orientation, I would install the filter with the tank feed going to the bottom (in your picture), and the line going to the fuel rail going coming from the top. I did a quick search, and do not like that none of the ads for this type of filter list particle filtration (microns).
