After working 12 hours straight at my job, I get in my built 420a and head to school. Then My ALTENATOR belt breaks! F***ing great!

My question is.. What is the part number to the ebay Pulley belt for the Altenator?

why would you want to buy from ebay and wait for it to be shipped to you when you can go to your local parts store and buy one for a couple bucks more? i dont get it:banghead:

I think he means the part number for the belt that fits his eBay UDP.

What you can do is measure the correct belt's circumference by wrapping a piece of string around the two pulleys and measuring its length. Write that number down and take it to your local parts store. First ask them for the part number for the stock alternator belt. Then ask them for that same belt, but in whatever size you measured. Any competent parts salesman will be able to find the correct belt for you. If you get a blank stare, politely leave the store and find another.

I'd start throwing fists. :D

Just get a Napa Gates belt or a Dealer one, save some hassles! :D I have gates belts and have never ever broke one....*Knocks on wood*

The OP can't use a stock belt because his new crank pulley is a smaller diameter -- so it's not as easy as just buying a new stock belt.

OP, you can guess and buy the belt that fits the AF/X UDP... there's a good chance it'll work, but be prepared to take it back if it doesn't. The only way to get it right the first time is to measure.
