Hey just curious to see if anyone was using one of the ebay camber kits. The one I seen had a few bolts, some thick black looking bushings, and some sort of "n shaped" metal brackets. I believe it was a package for the front and rear on a 2g. Does anyone know how these kits hold up compared to the "homemade kit" or any of the higher priced kits? Thanx!!

the homemade kit is only for the rear. the "n" or "u" shaped metal pieces and longer bolts accomplish the same thing by pushing the upper arm away from the body. the fronts are probably offset bushings.

You're correct that's what the page said...

Anyone have any experience with these type of kits?

Don't have any experience with the offset front bushings, but I use the longer bolt/washer combo in the rear for my alignment. I've run for 3 years like this without any issues & know of many other who do as well. Shouldn't have any problems just make sure you get a proper grade bolt that is equivalent or stronger then stock & isn't going to snap on you.

Im running the home made rear camber kit and and pleasntly happy with it, for half the cost of ebay. Just got to your local hardware store and get some 8.8 or harder bolts, and i also recommed getting the stronger 8.8 or harder washers to prevent the from bending or disforming when tightening the bolts to spec.

But when it comes to the front, im not gonna mess around and I will go with a brand name such as ingals(sp). I havnt heard a lot of positive storys from the knock off ebay front camber kits. Do some research and you will find everything you need to know on ebay camber kits.
