Eastwood tools, plasma and MIG, experiences with them???

I have a good friend working on building his metal working tool supply and he had asked me if I knew anything about this brand called Eastwood, personally i haven't heard anything about them other than what few tools the same friend has bought from them.

He wants to get this package with a plasma cutter and MIG welder both included but I wanted to make sure they weren't the same level of tools sold by harbor freight so i thought i'd post on here

Eastwood does alot of sales for Autobody equipment, I can't speak of their Welders, but their Fender rolling tool, and Cleco tools are awesome!

I have done some research in the past on them, still undecided though. They do seem to be active on a lot of forums to provide support.

I read a lot of very good reviews on the plasma, in fact haven't heard a bad one yet.
The mig looks great for the price. They have a video comparing it side by side with the Lincoln and the results were the same.
I did buy this tig but it showed up broken, still they tool care of it with the warranty. They sent FedEx to the house to pick it up and when they got it back I got a refund. For the price I say it's worth a try, but check out eBay because they go on sale there first and still have the warranty.

awesome, thanks for the feedback everyone. being that ididn't know anything about them i was hesitant to recomend him to buy them, but he wil be glad to hear this news. ANy more input is welcome as well
