Lincoln POWER MIG 140C MIG Welder- feedback?

Just wondering how many of you have experience with this MIG welder? It's one that I've been looking at for a little while. Any feedback on this unit? Since I don't have 220 in the garage, I haven't been able to use the TIG in a while. I figured I might as well look into a good MIG welder for some other projects for the track car.

great welder for the money. Ive had mine for about 5 years now. Never gave me any issues. Welded exhaust systems, brackets and other odds ends on many cars.

I dont have the 140 but have the 125 that is the same except for the gas adittion and dont have any problem at all.Good machine even for a noob on welding.

Ive used it for just about any project i had in my garage. Everything on my awd colt swap. I give it two thumbs up.

I trust it eanuf to weld my shortened drive shaft.

Very stout little machine. Really i dont think you can go wrong with any Lincoln. Their reputation speaks for itself. Plus being able to weld up to 1/2" makes it capable of any home project.

The only complaint i have with 110 welders at home is the draw you see. It will flicker and dim the lights in the house with every trigger pull. Kicking breakers off occasionally. After we went with a 220 set up on a dedicated line that all ended. The machine also seemed more consistent.

That has been my experience anyway.

Yea 220 in the garage would be nice ( no dryer outlet?)
