We've already discussed the track option and no one is really interested. To much risk of breaking something and getting stuck down here.

Getting stuck in Myrtle Beach is a bad thing??? haha come on, no way.

I think some of us would like to go watch and run at the track but it all depends on if they get it done by the time of the meet.

Yeah no kiddin BJ, i think the 1/8th mile will be repaved by then but the 1/4 probably won't be done. The only thing about it is that they run on sundays here instead of sat. so i doubt many people will want to stay but i'm up for it if anyone else wants to go. I'm the one that suggested it in the first place.

So how about the fact that it's snowing in myrtle beach today. I think the entire city is about to shut down.

it was just a suggestion about the track anyways i really dont think that they will even finish paving the .8 mile, and yeah its snowing in MB, and yeah they closed couple of bisnesses till noon, man i come from europe where right now it -45C now thats cold and the contry still operates fine. But i agree with all of you that getting stuck in MB is not fun, so , i guess we all will sctratch that idea, i do have the cellphone number of the owner i will call him later on that week to see if anyone is even out there, would be no point wasting gas!, but yeah look for us on the bulevard and especially on the planet hollywood parking lot, with used and new parts, accessories and vinyl, Look for TDR Tripple Digit Racing Banner

10 day forecast on weather.com shows that it's gonna be in the 50's and 60's soon. i'm sure we have nothing to worry about. it's not like we're going down there for the beach anyway heh.

I agree and we are not coming down to this meet to hang out with any of the Drop Jaw club, this is a DSM/Evo tuners meet.

But yeah, you guys don't have to worry about the snow. It did snow pretty hard for a little bit but the ground is too warm for it to stick. By the time everyone gets down here for the meet it will probably be back to the mid 60s all day long.

i know some people arent staying in the blue bay resort, so i was wondering is that going to be the spot where everyone is going to meet up at? i am staying there but also i am going to stop by my beach house in north myrtle beach to check on it sometime during the day

Most of the time when people make remarks like this and they are joking then they follow up with a smiley. I don't see one so here's logical response to your remark.

If you don't like the plan then you don't have to attend or partake of the specific times you find offensive. The way alot of meets go is people show up, there's only a ball-park idea of what should go on and people always bi*** about the lack of planning.

Many people find the planning to be Nazi like prior to the meet but no one seems to take note of how easy things work out when they are properly planned. AFTER the last East Coast Road Trip meets from Myrtle, Ocean City, and Virginia Beach there wasn't a single person that complained about the manor in which the weekend was planned. Just the location or the foods. But the meet was organized and flowed just fine with no problems.

Try a smilie next time or try planning a regional meet like this yourself.

All I have to add is the very first meet we had, had no planning and it was total chaos. We didn't see some of the people but maybe an hour the whole weekend. Everyone did their own thing. Then everyone bitched about it.

You tell me, what kind of meet is that.

I do not in any way thing badly of you and I am very glad that you made an interary it makes things go much smoother instead of people standing around going "well what do you wanna do now" and wasting a bunch of time. I can't remember, but is Planet hollywood across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe? If so then we should have no problem.

Yes planet hollywood is across the street form Hard Rock so there should be no problem. Me and BJ will try to think of a back up place that would be pretty sweet to take pics at.
