IThere is tons of places we could meet though. Anywhere at Broadway, Wal-mart, the list is endless.

The main reason I am concearned about space is because I am planning on inviting a few more car groups to hang out as well.

I think a good place to meet would be at Myrtle Square Mall (a few minutes away from the Blue Bay).

Ok here is the deal. I hate to sound like an ass But I am going there to be with DSM Tuners, not everyone and their brothers car club. I don't mind if some freinds come and do whatever becasue there are a couple from this boards who no longer have DSM's but we are not going to make a schedule to accomidate other groups. If I wanted to go to a meet to be with other types of cars I could go to my local movie theater on a Friday night.

With that being said, if this makes people feel they want to back out, I am sorry. This was organized by myself and a few other for the MAIN reason of meeting and hanging out with other DSM'ers.

And if I am not mistaken, if you are looking at the Blue Bay Resort, there is a parking light immediatly to the left of it.

I understand what you're saying and you're right. It was just a suggestion if we can't all fit in that parking lot or we get kicked out (which is unlikely in the off-season but you never know). We are sticking to the original plan, at least i am and will see you at the blue bay resort at 5. Also i didn't think about it before and i don't know why but there is parking on the side of the street right infront of the bar and hotel. We can fit tons of cars there. It's completely empty this time of year.

i agree... i mean if other people want to hang and chill and what not, then that's cool, but i don't think we should go out of our way for it. this is a dsm oriented meet set up by dsm owners to hang out with other dsm people. all should be welcome, but know your place

No thay have what is called "preferred seating". You can't get reservation however you can call ahead and tell them to stand by for a group of 30 or so. That way they know when someone is coming.

looks like a good amount of people are coming down for this.. i'm getting excited should be a lot of fun. i know someone with a 1g eclipse, I'll see if he wants to join us too even though I doubt he would have the cash to.

I'll be handling the "not-a-reseveration" phone calls this year again and maybe even get a few more numbers for things like breakfast and such to make that side of things run smoother as well.

We've scoped out quite a few places before in the past at various road trip meets and most don't take reservations. The ones that had preferred seating that we were able to call ahead on always did a good job getting us seated within say 10-15 mins (normal wait for even a party of 3-4). The only time we had problems was when we screwed ourselves with a larger than estimated head count. So I can't stress enough how important it is to get everyone on the meal lists as soon as possible to make sure there's enough seating for all and we get to sit with who we want.

hey guys my name is jake i am new to this site, i live in north myrtle beach sc, which is about 10 minutes north of myrtle beach, i own a 1998 7th generation mitsubishi galant, ride is sweet and nitrous charged, just wondering if any one wants to meet up later on this month there in MB, also i am a member of TDR ( tripple digit racing) we will have a banner set up somehwere on the bulevard or planet hollywood parking lot, so look for us, we also have a performance shop, bring some money we will have some new or used parts, and we also will have TDR vinyl stickers, or SPONSOR vinyl stickers. such as HKS, OBX, RALLIART, ECT.....u get the point

there is a drag strip which is currently being repaved which is only .8 mile, also they are making a 1/4 brand new track right next to it, should be completed my summer time,

i will call the owner or drive down there tomorow to see if the .8 mile is completed after being repaved, the track is located on hwy 90, the why runs from little river to conway sc, hwy 90 can be accessed from hwy 31 and 22 and tne from why 17 to 22 to 90 ,

anyways if anyone of you wants to drag race legally let me know by email
