Aw two new people! Its exciting. Well we got the laser running today, and I found out that I wont have the new awd tranny in until march so I will be coming up fwd. But all is good, because I will have the new paint job, the new tires, the new battery, the simple things, new strut bar, and a few others. So its all good. Not much, but thats why its called a project car. And both Chris' welcome abroad

Anyways, ok. I'll go ahead and throw this out there for the 95South/40E Folks heading to Wilmington to then go on to Myrtle as a larger caravan.

Approximately 36.8 miles from the intersection of 95 and 40 there is a reset stop on 40E closest to Wilmington. This is the only rest stop near that intersection without having to drive too much in the wrong way. I recomend we put this as the meeting spot for those coming from North and West of that intersection.

I suggest meeting in Southeast Raleigh (near the intersection of US70 and I40) around noon. Depart at 12:30 which should put us at that rest stop at about 1:30. Wait again for about 30 minutes and from there we'll leave to go to Wilmington and arrive in maybe 45-55mins. This should put us in Wilmington at about 3pm. Please note that the last exit number on 40 is 420A .

That's just a plan with room to adjust to try and get as many of us together without making too many people wait too long.

Havelock/New Bern/Jacksonville/Raleigh people will be meeting @ the Wilmington Hooters around 3pm. I imagine we will sit down inside and eat some lunch or whateva...we should be heading out of there around 3:30pm or so.

Ok I am working on the itinerary and I have a small thing to work out before posted.

In the past we have always taken pictures of the group in front of the pryamid at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Well last year with my time line it put the sun directly in front of us and it was very difficult to take pictures.

The question is, do we want to take pics at the same place and keep with tradition or find a new place.

If we want to stay at the hard rock we have two options.

1. Go earlier and take the pictures and do breakfast after. This is a good option because there we little to no cars in the parking lot and the sun will not be a factor.

OR

2. Wait till later in the afternoon and do it. But you will run into cars being in the parking lot and the picture will not look as good.

What do you guys want to do?
