What is the average cost to dyno your car? How long are you given, and how many pulls?
I work in a shop that has a dyno, but my boss doesn't run it much. He said if I can get more business in he would run it more. We are just trying to find out what the going rate is. Let know how much you have paid and how long you where given and how many pulles. By the way it's only a 2wd dyno and can only handle about 450 at the wheels. Let me know what Ya think. Thanks, Dave. :thumb: :laser:

I've seen between 150-250 per hour to tune and if they are just wanting do a couple of pulls I've seen 50-100 for about 2-3 pulls.

That sounds about what we were thinking. We were discusing it erlier and I said 150 for 3 pulls and 10 min. in beween each pull. My boss hasn't came back with an answer on that one yet. He is wanting me to learn how to use it so I can do the work so he doesn't have to. I said OK but I get free pulls. He hasn't got back to me on that one either. Oh well. Thanks and I'll let you know what he desides. Later, Dave.

When my brother did his it was 100 for one hour of tuning with 3 pulls. If it took longer another $50 was added on and they tuned as long as it took to get as much power as they could. He actually did like 6 runs even though they said they only do 3. This is for tuning. It was like $60 for 3 pulls, if you tune yourself

My local 2wd dyno charges $50 for 3 puls, $90/hr if you tune, $110/hr if you tune using their wideband o2, and $150/hr with them tuning using their wideband o2. Last time I was there, it cost me $125 for 3hrs dyno time with me tuning, their wideband, and 5 gallons of race gas. Then again, I used to work there. Actually, they offered me the job of running the chassis dyno and I would have had personal unlimited use for my car after hours at no charge.

I would have taken the job for shure. If it paid good. Well this is giving me some good numbers to work with. Keep it coming. This gives me some good pull on what my boss wants and what is resonable. Thanks a lot guys. Almost forgot. He also wants the person to have their own tunning equipment. I told him that would definatly hurt the flow, but he said if enough came thru he might invest a little. Either way, I runing mine as soon as its running right. Thanks again. Later, Dave.
