I currently have a GReddy EVO2 catback exhaust with a cheap exhaust mani and hiflow cat. The muffler is starting rust out being I got the car from up north and probably wasn't taken care of/washed off after the harsh winters. I am looking to get the Apexi WS II catback system, but only if there isn't a dual tip exhaust that you all know of, I just like the look better since the opening on our bumers is so wide. Can't seem to find one for an N/A 2g without going stock. Any ideas?

You guys are away that he has a NT car right? Keep your cat on the car dude.

Thank you!
People read "exhaust" and jump on the bandwagon for straight pipes and screw catalytic converters.
Stick with a 2.5" system, don't look into the turbo model mufflers like others suggested. More than likely they'll be 3" inlets. Which if you have never heard of a 3" on n/a stock...well you'll just be something to laugh at.

Yeah I'm trying to go with the OEM look, without going to all OE parts. The problem with my exhaust is that it is starting to rust out and I almost think it would be better to go from manifold to muffler all new, but it is just my DD so I don't want to, or can't afford to, sink a lot of money into it.

This is what I'm looking to do in the beginnig of the year. Like I posted earlier, but here is a picture for reference.

^^^^That looks rough. Maybe on a dsm where you only see the tip, but seeing the pipe leading up is fugly bro. It being that slammed probably makes it appear even uglier than it really is too.

Chipper: Perfect stock look. Love that

Meh, I like that look. I haven't seen someone do it on a DSM before, so it's going to be a first. Plus, I still got my Thermal R&D exhaust if I don't like it :)

I just sold my gst but before I did I was looking to do what you were. I wanted a highflow stock looking exhaust. I found that the magnaflow # 14221 was exactly what I wanted. 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets.

I bought all the parts but then I sold the car. Since I never got around to actually fabbing it all up I still have the brand new magnaflow muffler and an RRE resonator. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

people have good success with vibrant mufflers. I would go with one of those and bring it to a muffler shop to make up the rest. I had a nt eclipse a while ago with no cat and a big muffler. Its not worth it honestly. Just get something clean looking, quite, and simple. The car will stink if you don't get a cat.

As you can see from the looks of this car this is a terrible idea. It will be loud and it looks awful. Silly drifters.

the best sounding 420a exhaust is made like this:

header (megan, or whatever brand you want, they are almost all the same)
High-flow cat (magnaflow is good) -important-
2.5" Piping!!!! -important-
Vibrant oval style resonator -important-
magnaflow street series muffler (you can get dual tips)

There you go.
