Does anyone have any idea of how to mount a second fuel rail on a aftermarket intake manifold? I am interested in running 8 injectors. If you have any pictures, that would be great. Any help is good.

is there an advantage to this insted of just getting larger injectors?

Isn't it claimed that smaller injectors have a better spray pattern and better atomization?
Along with being able to bring online alot! More fuel when needed for more boost.

Besides that, there is a vendor here that sells a injector plate that mounts inbetween the intake mani and the head. Forgot who ATM, but I'm Shure someone knows and can dig up the link. I know its not the ideal location but its a easy bolt on. That could fill in your need for a extra set.

Polk, AMS,JMFab all offer manifolds with the dual stage rail option. I didnt see anything about an injector plate though.

The injector plate is made by hahn racecraft, called the port-fueler. I know they make it for the 420 motors but not sure on the 4g63t motors

There are a few reasons why I am inquiring about dual rails. I am currently using 1600cc. they are difficult to control (I am using AEM as my standalone, and I am using an injector driver). So with that in mind, I would use smaller injectors in the lower rpm range. Of course the 1600 will be staged in when needed. The second reason is, that i am going to be switching to E85 or better. when running E85, you must use 33% more fuel. so in theory, when in high boost numbers i would be well over 1600cc injectors. providing more than enough fuel.

Dont see anyone posting from experience with dual fuel rails. I have already took the plunge on this set up. I am bringing this back so i dont create another post.
I have to admit it up front that I have no idea what I am doing yet when it comes to making the 2nd set of injectors work more then mounting them and wiring them. I bought the intake 2nd hand but was never used. I was initially going to mount the rail and injectors in to plug the holes and figure it out later but decided what the heck and have begun to run wires to the EMS.

I am using a Magnus intake provisioned for 2nd rail and have taken my stock rail and had to shave it to make it work with the intake. I am running an aeromotive fuel rail with 1000cc injectors as the primary ( in stock location) and the stock rail on the intake with modified ends for 6AN lines.
I have an aeromotive AFPR and am being fed by a single 255 walbro but am going to make the switch for a dual set up soon.

Here is where the questions come:

Can I use a Y fitting after the fuel filter and then before the fuel pressure regulator?

Feed-----Fuel Filter-----< 2 Fuel Rails >----AFPR-----Return

I have looked over the wiring diagrams for the extra injectors but I have no clue how to make them work yet on my AEM EMS. I want to run the primary injectors in daily driving and have a bit extra when needed from the secondaries. Is this programmable?

If anyone has any idea where to get writeups from experience, I would appreciate it.

I am only planning to do this Talon AWD TSI. The bottom end is fully built. This is just one of the unknown areas of my build, but as winter closes in I am more and more anxious to get it done and get out of the cold riding my motorcycle every day. Thank you again in advance for you return correspondence!
