help needed with 8 injectors dual fuel rails

I am doing a 8 injector dual fuel rail setup for various reasons. I am using aem ems, I need help with the wiring of the second set of injectors not sure if i should run them in series with the orignal injectors or?

I know that the aem has drivers for #5-8 injectors if i use those will i need to install another factory resistor pack for 5-8 or does the aem injector drivers in the ems take care of that thus not having to use a seperate aem injector driver unit or another factory resistor pack, do i have to use the original resistor pack with the aem or can i get rid of it? I know it also matters on what ohm injectors i use as well, not sure what injectors i am going with yet.

So if anyone can help me with an idea for the best setup for this it would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know how you would wire it but I beilve you can not use 5-8 the ams will think you have an 8 cyl and will deliver fuel at the the wrong times. Unless you can adjust the time the injector fires to match 1-4

Something tells me you have never used/tuned an AEM EMS.

You can use 5-8 and that is the correct way to do it. You will need to use a resister pack depending on the type of injectors you are using, just like 1-4. You would configure your injectors via the EMS as primary and secondary injection.

I am new to AEM. I figured that 5-8 were for that considering its a plug and play ecu designed for a 1g dsm and not a universal one. I just wanted to make sure thats how you wire it up i figured it was.
