Hey guys I don't know like anything about tuning but I know dsmlink is the way to go. Here's my question- one of my buddies told me he'd sell me dsmlink version 1 with cable and socket for 350 is this a reasonable deal? what are the differences between v1 and 2? Should I get it? help

anybody? i'd like to know tonight so I could give him the money... :D

it's used though from someone else... what would I do just send them my chip and cable? also what are the differences? would I still be able to tune with version one just fine?

"EPROM only: If your ECU is already socketed, then we can simply ship a new EPROM with DSMLink code on it. You can swap the chips yourself easily enough. It is possible, however, to bend or break pins and render a chip useless if you are careless. So if you're not comfortable with this yet you know your ECU has already been socketed, then feel free to send us your ECU and we'll do the swap at no charge."

It's all there. Honestly, it is.

If you look on the main page you'll see the differences between V1 and V2 versions.
