ok so i saw that i had a burn mark on my dsmlink chip. Nothing else seems bad on my ecu so i need a new chip to replace my burnt one with that can be tuned with the link.. please respond back with any suggestions. thanks

Only DSMLink can be tuned with the software. It's the eprom that does it all.
Contact the guys that make DSMLink and let them know. They may warranty it, or replace it with a fresh chip. Might ask you to take pictures to make sure it's an actual burn, and not just discoloration or something like that.
I'd also recommend sending the ECU in to have them look it over, if they do decide to replace the chip... EPROMs don't just burn out of nowhere, you know. Probably a more severe problem with your ECU that you just aren't seeing, if it's actually burnt.

If it's a legitimate DSMLink, you should have access to the forums. Either PM Dave, or post up over there. Dave Mertz is about as good as they come on these.
