so stoked. Huge difference car drives so smooth on these tires. Love taking corners in this car haha!
gotta tune more boost in. Then it might be time to put the fp 68hta on mahahaha and have even more fun
. Or just have a monster car that's even harder to handle
. I love my gvr4 such a sick car to drive. The evo8/ swift combo I have really works with the car. But i think it's time for a set of Feal coilovers to step in and a few whiteline products to accompany some bushings and swaybars for sure
the one aluminum j-pipe started out from a vrsf kit. Then I cut and welded it to work for my needs. The ss one I found on here. Then also cut/modded to fit my needs. I havnt switched to the ss yet but will soon.
really stoked i found this car the way it was. Still have so much more I want to do. But it's come a long ways and I love it!
had a blast and was the best course I designed so far! My fastest was 43.15 and the ftd was 42.28 (corvette), he might of dipped into 41's during fun runs. Man I just about had the 42
so close. Car is so fun on the hankooks the extra meat really made a diff. Need some of that vp mix so I can up the boost more.
Also it's not siting on the exhaust mani now, that's a huge plus.
. I'm glad I had all these spare parts
.
. Got to run my new toy I just picked up
. 91 Miata which just happens to be a special edition like the gvr4
. This one is car #1537 and sleepy is #1633. Really stoked I found this thing has 100k miles and really clean for a 91. Got some plans for this baby cough cough turbo
.
. Well and all our super fun back roads on this island haha. I decided to get 2 new bfg sport comp2's and also some camber plates, and whiteline caster bushings.
I love these bfg's, way more meat than the hankooks and had way better ratings and cheaper. Oh how I love Amazon haha
once the other 2 hankooks are dead I'll grab 2 more bfg's for a full set. I have some time since we have a break from Autox till December. Other than that the gvr4 has been running amazing.
. Next will be some hankook rs3's for autocross days
.
). Plus it flows so much better and I have zero over heating issues this way. It also lets the radiator fan cool the fmic a lot more this way. I cut back the sides so my piping goes thru on the sides of the radiator instead of down and around. Shortest route possible
. I'm using a vibrant core that used to be on my friends 1g DSM and also on my 2g gst
. I love it and am so glad it worked out the way it did. My next mod is adding my mishimoto 1g radiator. Will be moving the bottom mounts over about a inch and centering the top ones also. For now I just threw the stocker back in cuz the Honda half I had just wasn't cuting it. It's been super hot here and we always have traffic and it was killing me letting the temps go up so high. Now with the stocker not one issue and I only have one fan
. Once I get the Mishimoto in I'll have 2 fans wired in for the most cooking I can get.
Hmm what else
I installed a Holley hydramat on my fp 255 and also finished my fuel pump rewire. And remade 2 ic pipes to help things fit. Running great so far fired right up. Time for some tuning! I will definitely be driving it tomorrow ha! oh and guess what I found e85 on island at the pump! Oh ya things just got interesting
. Super busy with the shop.
