There are quite a lot army guys in Germany, and a lot of native Eclipse owners, too. I know more than ten in my area.

Where do you gonna live? I'm from Saxony (Sachsen), good old Eastern Germany, haha.

Your delay might be the LHD. The Eclipse was never produced as a RHD and this might be a cause, that this beautiful car is very hard to get in england...
Maybe you´ll import one

I don't mind driving LHD, haven driven many LHD. The only problem is english drive like they are in a race so must check other side blind spot

Im thinking of importing a european GSX.

Should be difficult, too.
The GSX´were never produced in Europe. If you´ve got a lot of time, and some luck of course, you´ll find one... For a wheelbarrow of money

There are 1G N/T AWD's. Mostly in Sweden, Austria, Germany, but they may be found in other countries as well.

They are pretty rare however they cost as a regular 1G NT. They are a little different than a turbo 1G though. They have more torque to the front wheels (maybe 60/40) and some Webasto heater (which adds weight). However they are begging to be turboed and worked on

ah I see well the car had front end damage to it on passenger side im trying to fix her up but parts are hard to get over here, this is my second 2g eclipse I had a turbo one before this one

Ouch that's nasty. She looks otherwise clean though, aye? I would say get a carbon fiber hood off eBay, and maybe source a bumper from Germany or something. Shipping from the US is a bi***.

Did you own a black '96 GST by chance? That one belonged to my mother. I checked the Reg with the DVLA and it came back as declared off the road. Some scrote toad probably popped it.
