I had a 95 EPROM ECU installed in my GSX today and while everything works beautifully, I'm having an issue in that the car is always on the stutterbox, which is only supposed to be active when the car's completely stopped. The problem is that as soon as I hit any of the stutterbox RPMS while moving, the car will automatically engage it and start firing on alternate cylinders as if I were preparing to launch.

I've been bantering back and forth with Jeff from DSMChips (great customer service) and he asked if the speedo was working, which it is. Would a bad speed control sensor give me these types of issues or is it possibly what Jeff refers to as the pulse generator?

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, after jerking around with the speed sensor this morning and finding it snapped in tight, the easiest solution is just to burn another chip without the stutterbox and two step so the issue doesn't arise. Oh well, could be worse...
