everyone
Some of us know from experience, when it comes to wheel bearings it’s quality brand only or you’ll be back.
So I assume this, to have some parallels when it comes to transmission bearings.
But since I have zero experience, I wanted to ask : if anyone has ever used a budget rebuild kit like this one below:

I’m only asking because I have a spare gst trans gifted to me and it supposedly has a bad 2nd synchro
I don’t have any GSTs, but i thought this would facilitate a learning experience.
Lastly I do know Jacks has a solid economy rebuild kit with much more included - I would consider a kit like that for my AWD trannies.
