i was thinking it would be nice to get a last dsm meet together, see some faces and deffinatley the ladies (cars). either before the snow falls or when it does and we can all do some winter drifting. anyways point re-stated DSM meet soon, who feels like this is a good idea?

as i read through this thread i see there have been multiple tries of dsm car clubs going and meetings, i say once and for all we get a club going and not just let it blow by. there are enough dsm'ers located in washington to start a club so lets start throwing some team names in and see what we agree on and spread the word.

Most left cause they sold there car or lost contact don't know. I am going to try to keep it going though if you guys are up? im up and running, finally got a few kinks out of the talon and got my new clutch in and throttle body. need to get on a timing and balance shaft belt then im good, need some help with anyhting let me know.

my talon should be up and runing shortly. im picking up a set of fp2 and a set of pte 880 monday.

really all i need to do to get it running again is get my ic piping rebuilt for the new bov but i dont have 300 bones right know to have smc do it. if any one needs any dsm stuff im cleaning out my garage just hit me up and ill let you know if i have any thing that your looking for like my socketed eprom 300 or obo

im looking for some local advice im having a problem with my car of course but heres the scoop:
when the engine is under load ( in gear deaccelerating) im only pulling like 10 hg in vaccum, and at idle now it just sits at 0hg and it acts like it wants to die dropping back and forth between 200-300 rpm.

all i can think of right now is either the gauge is slightly off on reading vaccum, or i read that the factory FPR is controlled by vaccum and if i have a bad vaccum leak somewhere its causing the FPR to not work right which explains no vaccum at idle and the engine wanting to die because of lack of fuel

im lost for where to start diagnosing, any info would be great!

its not the idle speed controller is it.

when mine idle's its at about 17 hg so more than likely its a vacuum leak i would say. idk what else would cause it to read 0 at idle.

Yeah somethings fishy there
I idle at 20inHg and decel pegs the guage. Severe vacuum leak causing poor running condition as well maybe??

yeah im guessing a very bad vaccum leak, sometimes when im at idle it reads 10hgs and then after beating on it it reads 0hg. just where to start diagnosing tho...
