All of you east-siders need to make it out for the August 2nd (Sunday) meet in mukilteo, we have a count of about 30 DSM/EVos combined right now, We are also inviting the Supra group for a little more eye candy. I'll be up there from today until about the 6th, is there any car shows or racing in that time anywhere remotely close to Spokane/ coeur d' alene? I feel like I might be bored if I can't do something like that. Or what should I do while I'm there?

Ya i am surrounded by flippin hondas to cant get away ether . but there should be some drag racing at srp this friday its 10 bucks to watch i might go out there to i don't no yet or i could stay home and work the bugs out of my car ether way it is nice to see more dsm'rs this way

The races start at 7:00 and spokane raceway park/ srp/ is air way hights just ask around or google map ip it is pretty easy to find. And what kind of problems are you having with yiur maft i live in post falls and might be able to help you out

So i got my transmission and transfer case today i cant freaking wait! Now all i have to do it throw the engine back together put it in the car throw in the tranny and the transfer case put the interior back in place hook up my maf t get a new front mount intercooler do the pipping hook up my fuel pump o and figure out how to get a abandoned vehicle title o and get new rims and tires as well. ya i should be ready soon no all that is pretty quick an easy but ill be out on the strip in no time. thanks to chad eric and rrussel for the help

I'd love to take my car to the track, but it's in that ever evolving state of broken...

I used to take it personally, as if my car hated me for some reason, and the more I read this forum the more I realize it doesn't really matter how much I love the car it will always be a 'love hate' relationship.

My husband's been all over the forums trying to figure out exactly what to do that will at least make this car stop eating through engines. Not taking it to his awful mechanic in Yakima is step one. I'm pretty confident Lucas Racing is a good choice. There is a limited selection of mechanics in Spokane who will work on modified cars and none that seem to know much about DSMs.

I know I probably should not post this here, but I have searched with no answer and would like an opinion from a local.

So I just got done doing some porting on my 16g trying to get rid of my boost creep, and put everything back together "correctly" or so I thought. When I took it out for the first time without my MBC connected it boosted just fine, but still had creep in higher RPM's. I decided to put on the MBC and run 13-14 psi. After I got it set, I took a corner and barely got onto the trottle I notice a wierd noise, no smoke, just a noise like metal on metal. I don't think it's the turbo because I checked it and no play, in or out nor side to side. So what could of happened? Can the CHRA be bad with no apparent evidence, or do you think it's my motor? The wierd thing is it still seams to run and boost without getting on it too much(I didn't want to damage it). I would appreciate any input on this I'm getting frustrated.

Welp, I went to Spokane raceway and saw all of 2 dsms running. I saw a blue 1g one That I knew from an Idaho forum and a black 1g. Nice races. I like Spokane/CDA area a lot.

Who's the guy that owns russels talon? He didnt do any of the work and some other guy, his "mechanic" was being a huge prick the whole night. The kid who owns it didnt even drive his own car down the track....

we all should show up to the track on Friday running or not hopefully running. we need to get more dsm's out there way to many Honda's and way to little dsm's. It would also be a good way to figure out when to do a meet before summer is gone.

Ya trever is why the first dsm meet didnt go through i talked to russ and he says he had some stuff come up so he had to sell the car but he is looking for a auto 2g

I only ran a 14.59 @ 97.00 but my wife was in the car and it was all for fun so what can you do. Anyways, does anyone know the guy driving the gray 1g talon that is running like 11's? I think there where two other dsm's out there, one blue 1g and one green 1g. I was hoping to get talk to some people and check out there cars but that didn't happen. I can't believe how many civics there were out there.

Grey 1ga = Alex Shuster - KaizenSpeed talon
Blue 1gb = Trevor - also owns a 9.6sec black auto 1gb
green 1g = i dunno

Hey everyone, dumb question time Im in need of a running shortblock 1g 6bolt, im in the process of moving and would like to actually drive my car to my destination(Portland). My motor decided it didnt like to be held at high rpm for very long autocrossing. So my motor is on a stand in the middle of my garage and the build had to be put on the back burner due to moving. Now I know that actually driving a dsm and hoping itll actually make it are two differnt things, but I love my car and really need a cheap motor. Prefer to be local like tri cities,yakima,spokane,ect. But Im back and forth to portland 2 times a week so that would work to. Dont care bout mileage just that it ran, when it got pulled. Thanks and hope to hit up the portland area dsm ring soon. Woodburn Raceway kicks ass!!! Oh and to add to the bummed out part I just pulled my car to a friends house to store for a few weeks and as we unloaded it, it decided to take a joy ride into the shrubs a the end of his very steep driveway. Ive done more damage to the car not running than when it is...
