Didn't know where else to post this, but I want to share it with you guys.
This car has quite a bit of history to it. (Skip the mini paragraphs to just get to the mods I have)
This exact eclipse has been around since Ive been 15(now 21). I loved the car like crazy. It pulled so hard, was really really quick for it being stock. I begged my dad to let me have the car and he said Id have it some day. I drove it around the shop almost everyday, it was hella fun.
Sure enough, my dad sold the car to someone. Was a huge disappointment, and me being only 15 I couldnt really get my hands on one. I ended up driving a Cherokee, a old Aero Star Van (GOD I hated that car.), and then a Mazda 626. Better then nothing I guess right? (though I would have preferred a mountain bike then the van..) A few months after, I see the eclipse being towed to the shop. I freak out being all happy seeing it again, not knowing that the guy blew the motor. On top of that, the car had gotten into a few accidents.
When I found out he blew the motor, well what can I say? Even more disappointment. Kept asking my dad why he sold it arguing back and forth. (obviously for the money but I didnt think at the time
). So the car was parked, and didnt move for years. Rain, hurricanes, heat, you name it. It went through it. All of the above except snow.
Last year, my dad moved his shop to another location. The eclipse went with us, but was parked on a dangerous place ( I was already in the process of saving up money for the engine). I kept telling my dad to bring it near the garage, theyre going to steal it where it was. It was parked near a rail road track next to a bunch of other cars that looked deserted. He kept saying Its going to be fine, dont worry.
Sure enough, I get a call at work with a question of, Did you put burglar insurance on your car? and right then and there, I knew it happened. Every single thing on the car was entirely stripped.
To sum it up?
I had to re-buy almost everything for the car."
