Ok so I finally fixed most of the stupid little problems with my car today. Now I just have to fix the oil leaks. I think the cause is too much oil pressure. I finally put in a working oil preassure guage today and my oil presure is through the roof. Hits about 100 psi at 3k RPM which is the max my guage will read. But if I get bored enough I will say f the oil leaks and drive it up there with my friend this weekend. Thats if something else doesn't break before friday.

I usually go to the meet at Sonic on sunday nights at 7:30 on Alamedapkwy and Mississippi Ave. It is A good meet

That's funny that you mention hap. I actually know one of the kids that started it he's friends with my dsm guy. I can't wait for my car to be up and running again. If anybody has info on the foco meets I'm interested in meeting up since my gf goes to school at csi it would be a win win for me

Discount Tire on College Ave... friday/saturday nights. It's coming soon. There should be a few running over there this weekend. Better yet, check with Badgst96, he's got the scoop

EDIT: Sounds like a few of us will be hanging out at Discount tonight (Friday the 10th), should be around 9-10pm for all us late working/school folk. Will post up an exact time when I know.

Well last night was pretty fun. Fairly laid back people showed (about 6 dsms) and even the muscle guys gave us a little respect . Thanks Mario for the MBC I'm totally excited where this could go. Now between 2 members with garages close (5 minutes from each other ), we hope this can be a regular thing and possibly get a monthly "Wrench Night" going since the weather is getting better. I have enough room for like 6 cars for electrical, etc. Plus my neighbors are cool. So again, I'm excited we have some cool people so far and look forward to hanging out again. PM me if anyone's interested in a wrench night.

i finally got the engine out of the eclipse and its time to throw another one in hopefully have it in by this weekend so i can get some cruise time hopefully this weekend doesnt come with any surprises

I was wondering if anyone has a feed line fitting to the block mine leaks quite a bit about a drop every sec so if anyone has one I can buy or knows where to get one. to make it clear im looking for a part to screw to my fitting by my oil filter that would connect my feed line to. if I screw it on the way it is right now oil just pours out

I'll try to make it to that meet if I can find it. I just got my motor back in and the car is finally leak free! I gotta meet a friend up in denver to trade some parts anyway so hopefully if its nice I'll get to meet some of you denver guys.

I got mine up and running again but still needs a few little things. I'm down to go cruisin soon so I guess I might be heading to federal Friday. I have to get this oil leak fixed before anything though so it will pass emissions.

I know its kind of off topic but is there any good dsm mechanics in the denver metro area? I have a 1g gsx project car that i cant get to run right. Im pretty sure the injectors arent working right. Meets are usually boring. If DSMers want to meet to race that is always better. I seem to always be the only DSM out at road race events. I am going to be at the Faasst Road Race event at PMI on Aug 15th in either my brothers EVO or my 1G race car. They have an EVO vs. Suby category there too I'd like to see if I could dominate in. If any of you want to sign up and join it's a blast! It kind of sucks being the only DSM fighting off a bunch of damn WRXs all of the time...

High Plains raceway is also open now too which is supposed to be a totally awesome track.
