not when your unemployed, just get a tax return for 800$ have to buy hard piping to get rid of the boost leaks ($300) then front shocks to stop the rubbing ($250) then the ticket............bye bye tax return..........how many points is that violation anyways?

Most of the time if you go to court to fight it the cop never shows up anyway.. Is this your first ticket?? if so then you could do traffic school and it will be a 0 point ticket :thumb:

But if you do have a ticket then it will be a point prob.... Oh ya... i told you guys i would keep you posted on my clutch.. i jus pulled the tranny on my 2g.. and sure enough it was the TOB... it was just @#$#ed up!! my clutch fork wore so much it was hitting the casing on the trans... and my presure plate fingers got all chewed up by the TOB... It did NOT look good... but now i have a ACT 2100 kit.. with all new OEM parts to go with it.... should be up and running tommrrow :hellyeah:

second ticket, my last was on 9/13/07 for speeding. Oh and congrats, hope to see your car running soon, I just found out the bolt to my turbo from the manifold is stripped out, thats causing the leak, im going to lowes to buy a similiar but longer bolt and shove it in LOL........

Replace the gasket too, uneven pressure on the gasket can cause it to warp if you've had that bolt out for a few drives.

i got one, thanks, imma take it out in a few hours, go to lowes get longer bolts, and thread it through to a nut, then tighten it down as much as i can with it.

It does not just go straigt through... LOL.. so the holes in the turbo are stripped??? same thing happened to mine.. i pulled it off re-tapped the threads.. got some ARP bolts bolted it all up and good to go... :thumb:

But ya.. i would for sure replace the gasket.. once you compress it.. then take the presure off it.. then try to seal it agian.. doesnt seem to seal right... i had to go throuh 2 of them before could get it to seal right.. Make sure that there is even presure on all 4 bolts to get a nice even seal...

Im in the process of puttin my tranny in as we speak... then we can do another meet:D

I just got the gasket off and everything.i need a turbo to manifold gasket ASAP. I took it off, yha its stripped, and im going to drills holes all the way through so I can put a nut on the other end and just tighten it.

Dang... got some work to do huh.. Is it one of the front holes?? if so then it will be alot eaiser to get the nut on it and tighten it...

Oh by the way... just fired up my car... runs like a champ.. except i took the battery out and it erased my tune :ohdamn: hahahaha... lucky me i had the tune saved and figured out how to re-copy it.. but ya runs good!!

nice bro! uhm It was one of the back holes, actually both, so I put new bolts in tightend them down, NO exhaust shop around here has that damn gasket, so I used a totally different one, and it works (for now ahaha). wrenched em down and voila. it runs ahaha.

WEAK!!!!! :banghead: did you only put one with a bolt and nut?? it prob blew out cuase there was less presure to that side and it found a way to escape.. did you tighten them in like a cross sequence? jus to make sure they were all even??

i didnt need the nut, the threads held LOL, I did cross pattern it, but this morning two were loose, Arent you supposed to tighten, run it for the bolts to expand, then retighten as necessary? I looked at the gasket today, Charde.......LOL
