Sorry guys, i know i didnt go and by looking at that thread they are just douche bags, i do know some of them and i do know they know me, a lilttle background is that i worked for a shop that evoempire didnt like, my old boss well lets just say i know why noone liked him much, but back towards the point, just leave em be, if we are all slow or crappy looking, let em talk ish, our cars basically created their car, and for deng sure we can be just as fast if not faster. Lets set a date to shootout with em if anything.

One of the white dsm's didn't like what you said about his engine bay at all, so he is challenging you. What you say? Maybe you can get "phopower" to come too and we can introduce him to MR. Ted. Maybe he will have to think twice about our "slow cars".

I'm sure our vtec's will hit twice as hard, oh wait a minute, we don't have any of that g@y-shit. We have real powered 4g63's. We might be "turds"s to you, but that's ok. Here is a lil somehing that we will all like to share with you just to let you know what we think of you:

hah, thing with DSMers is we actually work on our cars..

notice most if not all the EVO guys, buy their cars, buy parts, go to a shop to install it, then all of a sudden feel they are experts and tuners. only reputable EVO owners to me are those who use to own DSMs, and notice they are the ones who have the fast ones, or install the parts for those EVO owners who don't even know DSMs came with 4g63s and awd as well

maybe we should tell them Bryan at GST and the guys at FFTEC are/were DSM owners, yet those are the guys who build the fast EVOs in the bay area..

thank you for the attempt at a meet, but i think i speak for most of the Evo community when i say it sucked. lots of us drove from pretty far, to be let down with a small showing, and literally no food. theres was barely enough pizza to tickle taste buds, let alone put a dent in anyones stomachs. it was completely unorganized. most likely, you wont see any further involvement from most of us, ### the word has spread fast thru our communities.

i enjoyed seeing the couple clean cars out there, that looked like the owner took pride in. and some interesting builds like that Holsten snail in your ecplipse thunder. but some people just spraypainted an entire engine bay? eww

i put it on norcalevo, most of them i do know, and they are good people, when you hit evo empire they think they are superior to all other cars, thats why norcalevo and evoempire dont get along..

I have only met maybe 2 evo owners in my life that do their own work. Sad but true.

SavageEvo is the guy with green rims??? He's been roll racing all kinds of poor V8s around here!

Funny thing is Phet and Pat (pretty much the fastest evos in norcal) are the most down to earth evo owners around here. I dont know WHERE these guys on evoempire get off picking on their older brothers (DSMs).

Sure some people may have spray painted their whole engine bay one color (I did that when first starting off) sure some shit was ghetto (guilty as well), but back when 12s was fast (02-03 or so) who cared!

People have picked fwd platforms and converted them to awd because they loved their cars and wouldn't give up a thing for them! The best part is THEY DID IT THEMSELVES (Kamil from HiRev with help from Sean from fftec, and Ryuto) !

Pretty arrogant and childish really, downing the dsm community when there wasnt much of a local dsm movement beforehand. Like I said, time to guide the newbies, drag racing solves everything.

Tony never touched that car. I did everything. the only thing Tony did was find the hole on the firewall to put the wires through. I wired up everything inside. and Joey put the bung on.

lots of ignorance in this forum. for one, ive done all my own work, to both my evo and my AE86 that i had. only thing i havnt done was the tune itself. ive done the turbo swaps, the clutches, the mods, the services(everything) on my own. im not saying im a bad ass mechanic, or i know the world, i merely said we werent happy ### we felt let down. someone wants to do a shootout, im willing to hit the track. i dont street race, and i dont do the strip. i enjoy laguna seca, and would love to have some company so feel free to join me out there. i pay for my car, i pay for my parts, i pay for my sons and for my fun. so lets try to keep assumptions out of it.

i said there were a few nice cars out there, and did compliment those, but i did also say there was some shotty work, which there was. thats not my fault, maybe im just used to seeing a different level of builds? either way, take what i said to the heart or not, just some feedback to hopefully help keep things smooth, fun, and quite frankly worth a lot of peoples time - by being organized.

and please note, i never said i was teh fastest, the most bad ass, the cream of the crop.... just puttin that out there.

Also the reference I made about the slow cars going, I was talking about the evos (the black one on MB battles)
