Are these meant to be squeezed in some way to unplug or do you need to remove the wire “C” clip every time you want to unplug a connector? I must be missing something as I cannot imagine the dealer techs that work on other brands can stand these things.

have you ever seen the old school GM connectors, they had this wire thing that clips onto each connector, even when they were new pulling up the wire usually broke off the plastic thing holding the wire on the connector. Big PIA (Note i think its a wire thingy it might be a plastic lock device like you are talking about)

If you’re talking about the connectors like the TPS and MDP, you don’t need to take the wire off to disconnect it. Just give the connector a pull; just don’t pull on the wire. They usually pop right off. The GM ones mentioned like the ones they like to use on the fuel injectors are a true PITA.

OK, so that previous post link indicates you have to remove the clip every time you remove a plug. Have you tried this on the injector connectors for instance? It is near impossible to do all 4 without at least 1 of them flying to never be found. (Also, where can I get more of these clips since I now have 2 injector clips gone?) Or, is it realistic to assume you can just “pull fast/ hard” and they come unplugged?
