Well in typical DSM fashion I picked up my new talon and on the way back from plant city it blew the upper radiator line. Not a big deal I saw it wasn't installed that great before hand. It was too long creating a kink alomost in it. So I luckily had my knife in my tool box which I brought (I mean it's a DSM...who wouldn't) and I shortened the pipe, got some new clamps from a gas station, and filled it back up with water. It all seemed ok for about 15 min, then I noticed my temp guage going up and down. I kept a good eye on it and when it went past the normal range into the danger zone I immediately pulled off I-4 again and it was steaming like crazy. I let it cool for a good 20 min, filled it up with the last of my water I got and stayed around 65 for the remaining 40 min drive. It didnt go more then a 1/16 or so past the middle mark of the temp guage until I got off and came to a stop light where it would climb to the upper line in the normal range and drop back to normal whenever I would begain driving again. So what would you think this is? I am thinking thermostat? Please help me out as I haven't had the car 24hrs before my first problem....
