so this is my first DSM, The car ran OK when i got it. Now it runs horrible! When you start the car up it idles at about 1k, then drops to 750. After it warms up all hell breaks loose. The car starts jerking and sputtering like mad. it has a horrible loss of power also. It keeps jerking even when you apply gas. The only way to really stop the jerking is to FLOOR it.... In 3rd gear at about 3k rpms i can hit the gas and it hardly pulls or takes off.... I did a boost leak test and their is a very small leak at the throttle body, could be the BISS.
My dad is a mechanic and took it for a ride. He said it seems to be running rich because when your driving if you push the clutch in and rev it a couple of times then keep driving it drive good for a bit. PLease help :cry::cry:

Check timing marks on cam gears and crank. Depending on production date, the marks are completely opposite. Garage that built my engine had intake 180' backwards and it did same as yours. Ran horrible and rich. Shop also broke timing belt tensioner and crank key causing slipping or jumping. Good Luck

I had a similar problem when I purchased my first dsm and it had the wrong spark plugs that were too shallow.
