how do i drop the oil pan on a 90 GSX.. the dp and pan arnt my prob.. i just dont know how to remove the xfer case then reessemble it..
ive heard of something falling off when you remove the xfer case and to not worrie about it just put it back on.

can someone help me.

prime the turbo? you mean prime the filter and pull the MPI*i think thats what its called* fuse kick it over a few times for about 10 seconds.?.

Yes, that gets oil circulating through the center section without it turning. It's a good idea to do this kind of thing everytime you do something major. Like when you set timing, turn the engine over a couple times by hand before starting it, so just in case it's wrong, you don't bend valves.

the car is running.. BUT BUT BUT.... something is wrong with my clutch.. it stickin to the floor. i hooked that clutch switch back up.. still doing it. i cant drive it ### the clutch isnt working. but the car does start.. still working on my surge. got some water leaks im tending to. i think there is something wrong with my watermain line in the firewall. ### its leaking pretty good and running down the axel and started drippin at the rear diff.

my raditor hose is squrtin water out the clamp on the raditor.

the 2 vac hoses that run no where i stuck some screws in them. it has helped bring the idle down to about 1100-1300 surge now. but its better then 1700-2100rpm's

but again.. the car DOES START!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully someone can help me out with the probs im having..

Just take the clamps off your hoses and reposition the hose. Make sure it's all the way to the stopper on the radiator neck. Then just move the clamp around and tighten it in a different place. If that doesn't work, just buy new hoses. You should find out where those vacuum lines go... Post pictures and someone can tell you. As far as your clutch, try bleeding the system. If there's air in the fluid, it'll make the clutch stick down.

ok.. now.. i got the clutch fixed i just pumped the shit out of it with my hand for a solid 5mins.. i checked the slave clyinder to if it was hooked up.. it was.

so now i can drive it.. havent yet.. its startin to get hott with all the water im droppin from somwhere in the firewall.

so im lettin it cool off then im gunna take it around the block..

but im smoking out the exhuast.. i have to tighting my oil feed line down more on the turbo because its seepin..

the smoke isnt oily.. its almost like its burning water or something. im not sure yet. when i take it around the block i will see if it boosts up or not. to see if i can rule the turbo out. but if it was the turbo then it should be oily smoke.

but my car is gettin hott, my guess because of all the water im droppin...

also.. my surge seemd to stop... i started it.. it jumped to 1500rpm's then droped to 1k and held it there.. i kicked the ac fan on because its my only fan.. and it droped to 800-900rpms.. it wants to die if i rev it up past 3k or when i got to let the clutch out to drive it.. so thats where im working on now.

here are the vac lines im talking about... i have 2 screws in them right now. seems to be helping somewhat.

they run from and under the TB and end about the therostat housing.. i found them laying on top of the tranny after i bought the car. i have searched all over around that area to see if they will go in somewhere.. cant find anything.. i have also looked at the vac diagram and just get confused..

ok its rainy like cats n dogs here.. so i will check it out when it stops.. thats also halted my water leak problem from being fixed... but i cant find anything for them to run to.. THERE is a line that is right under the thermostat housing cap that has nothing running to it. but the nipple faces the engine block and the vac line wont reach it.. ill do a even more search. and check around the TB some more. i just cant figure out what they are. thx for the help so far on everything.

what kind of probs will i have for that not running to the thermostat housing?

and also.. what do you mean deleted?

and how do i give you rep points? because you have been a HUGE help for me so far.

Im sure some of the hose may be missing because there are clamps on each of the dotted hoses, they don't nessicarily have to go the the sensor, they could have met another vacuum tee that went to the EGR Valve.

I'm not sure exactly what the side effects are of not having this Sensor are, I figure it does something with the EGR Valve when the coolant reaches a certain temperature. I just removed/deleted the sensor, and made a block off plate for the manifold where the EGR Valve was before then capped off the throttle body nipples.

Have you seen the vfaq? Here is a link, the block off is under the engine section.

It still sounds like you have air in the clutch/slave system too, keep looking into that.

What coolant hoses to the firewall? The heater core hoses? These flow coolant to a small "radiator" looking unit that is mounted near the blower under the dash, giving the hot air when you turn the heat/blower unit on.

Just re-clamp or replace the hoses as nessicary, they are specially bent from the factory but I just replaced mine with regular heater hose.

If the heater core is leaking you can route the coolant back to the motor and not even flow coolant threw the core, but you would have no heater defrost/vents and no way of getting rid of foggy windows with heat. Texas?? I dunno :|

If I have misinterpreted let me know.

no your right auto rst.. they are the heater hoses.. im not sure yet if its the hoses or the heater... it started raining so i wasnt able to locate the problem completly just the locatin of where it was coming from...

im not sure if it a air pocket. it seemed to be working fine when i shut it up.. i rolled it down my drive way and drove it back up before it started raining.*driveway is on a hill*

i will have to look into those vac lines more also... i have plans on removeing the vac lines and the EGR plate block off but i need to get my car inspected first... so i need them.
