Well, I don't have the fuse in for the security system...

But, I do have the fuse in for the power locks. The driverside works fine, and to make sure it's just not locked up, I took off the door panel, opened up the plastic and sprayed silicone lubricant allllllll inside the locking mechanism. I also replace the door panel from a car with working power locks also.

Is there something I should look for or replace or is it just fried?

On the 2g they have to relays to control the door locks. One for the drivers side which is behind the radio and the one for the passenger door which is behind the drivers side rear panel. Not the trunck panel but the panel that sets on the side of your rear seats. Its the smaller box when you take the panel out. If you can try and listen and see if you can hear it click or if you can feel it as you hit hte lock button.

Where exactly behind the passengerside door is it?

I do hear a clicking by the drriverside seat, but I don't feel anything on the passengerside. Soemtimes, the lock will jiggle, but other than that, no movement.

Is it easy to replace the relay for this lock? How much are they, give or take? Any way to test it?

Howie~

It doesnt have one behind the passenger panel it has one behind the drivers rear panel and behind the radio. The clicking you are hearing on the drivers side may be in the door or may be the other box behind the panel. IF you can pull that panel out and reach backin there and feel fo rto boxes side by side and feel of the smaller one and get someone to push the unlock button. You may still feel it click and it may be the other box so to be sure unbolt it from the wall and feel it. The reason i say to check it is because my buddies 95 gst done the same thing and i have a parts car and we started switching stuff like switches and the relay behind the radio and come to find out it was the relay behind the drivers rear panel.

Do both of the relays control the doors because I'd assume that if there are 2 relays, that one would control the drivers and the other would control the passenger's respectively...

I kind of don't wanna rip out my center console to find a relay if I dont need to.
If the relay behind the driverside panel was the one you replaced, and it was the passengerside door, I'll go do that one first.

I'll keep you guys posted *^^*

That is the one i replaced. And the one behind the radio i unpluged and it just made the drivers door quit working. You really dont have to pull the center consol to get to, you can pull the side compartment off and get to it but i would still say its the one behind your rear panel. If thats no it, it may be your actuator in the door which i highly doubt.

Sorry to bring up an old post...

I've been looking and lookin but I can't find this stupid #!@$%@ relay for the passengerside door. If it's located behind the driverside rear seat panel, is it hard to get to or am I just a 'tard that rides the short bus?
