drivers side headlight not working

So i recently replaced my trans in my car. Car was done for maybe 3 weeks. When i got it back on the road now my drivers side headlight doesn't wanna work. I have a set of Digital HIDs as low beams and normal high beams. First the hids would flicker really fast on that side and the other side would come on normal. Also if i turned on the high beams they would be really dim. Now the drviers side completely stopped working and the other side works like normal. I swapped the blaster to the pass side and it worked fine. then swapped the headlight to the pass side and it worked. Seems like the wiring for the drivers side is messed up but cant find the problem. Anyone help?

i would deffinatly check the wires. it sounds like when you had the transmission out that on the removal or reinstall of it that you might have cut one of the wires. also check to see if the connectors are corroded. I believe that they are copper so the corrosion will be that greenish color or even white. best thing would be to electrically check the wires see if they are even getting power. check the fuses not sure if there is a separate fuse for each headlight or not but that could be it to. I'm not sure did that help you out any

yea i check the fuses and all was good. there is some corrosion in the plug i'll try cleaning it but it doesn't seem like its enough to affect the connections.

got it to work today. i dont know what it was but i was testing the socket to see if it was getting power and it was. so i plugged it back in and the light turned on. I guess there was some corrtion in the plug and i knocked it lose then i tested it.
