For the last week my car has been rattling from the drivers side but you cannot hear it at idle or after 2k. I noticed that my long alternator bolt at the bottom had worked itself loose and the nut fell off. I fixed that thinking that would be the cause of the rattle, however after fixing that, it still rattles. Also i've noticed that it doesn't seem to happen unless the engine is warmed up. Any ideas?

Could be a million things, best thing to do is take a Ratchet/Sockets and lightly give all bolts a tighten to see if any are loose...

Could also be something as dumb as the fender splash guard rattling/rubbing...

Have you tried to stand next to the engine and try to pin-point where it is coming from? That is probably your best bet.

I looked at it several times but i hadnt put it on jackstands and take off the wheel til just now. all the pulleys are tight and so are the belts. I took the top timing cover off and noticed that the timing belt was kinda sloppy like it wasnt tight enough, but when the car is off the belt feels tight enough. There is nothing that i can tell rattling against anything else.

alright i took off my timing cover then put the alternator belt back on with water pump and crank pulleys. now that i can see everything it looks like when i rev it, the timing belt starts getting "bouncy" at the top of the tensioner pulley, also it sounds like that is were the rattle is coming from.
