Yeah i can start my car and drive it and do around 19 PSI and runs good but after driveing it awhile it starts to slip real bad when get around 10psi the car wont move but just REV up and by the time i got home i was trying to drive it up on some ramps and it wouldnt even go up the ramps so dose this mean the clutch is shot? and would'nt it do it all the time if it was the clutch?

I got a stock clutch on it and need to replace it soon any way

my always starting slipping after i started making more power made things worse.

off hand anyone know around how much power these stock clutches are good for

Sounds like improper adjustment leading to pump-up. Go watch the clutch adjustment video at jackstransmissions.com

I think you may be on to something...measure the distance from the face of the clutch pedal to the firewall...it should be between 6.93-7.17 inches, if it is less your clutch may actually be partially engaged and that may cause it to slip after it heats up and is under load.

If that doesn't work your clutch is probably toast.

I think another guy mentioned it but, when i did 4k drops on my clutch, it would take it but it would make the clutch pedal feel horrible and really soft and mushy. Try looking up adjusting the slave and seeing if you have any air in the lines or anything like that first before just replacing the clutch and it does it again. It sounds like it is a bad clutch but you never know. :thumb:

mine did the same ends up it was a shot slave. seals would heat up and stop sealing as good. im replacing the whole linkage and putting on a stage 2 6puk. should grap alot nicer:thumb:

you have to consider that our cars are abused for the most part and its a 12 year old car. my car did the same thing under a little amount of boost and i always babied it for the most part when i looked at the disk it was completely done (ill show pics later)...just go with a new clutch and lighten flywheel while your at it to safe time and money.:thumb:
