Just installed a 3" catback exhaust form JapanImportShop on ebay. My question is who offers a 3" downpipe that would eliminate the cat and would bolt right up to this exhaust. Anyone have any experience ? But so far am impressed with the exhaust, great welds and decent tone.

That's what I have been hearing so far from everyone. What's your experience with them as far as customer service, any fitment issues? And I see I can at least get it from one of our vendors pretty cheap at Bonhead Performance.

The megan racing has no fit-ment issues and if you dont want the cat, you purchase the test pipe. Comes to around 160 for everything, and it all stainless steel, full 3 inch. Looks good.

No wrong guys. If hes buying a cat eliminating downpipe to bolt up to his Cat back system, hes not going to need a test pipe or resonator. The megan pipe bolts right up to any cat back system with out anything.

I was reading somewhere that the Megan Downpipe only really bolts up to there o2 housing or the oem housing. I plan on in the near future going with an EvoIII 16g with the evo o2 housing. Will the megan bolt up to that as well or not?

Im not sure on that one. I heard the e3 o2 cocks down at a weird angle, so someone else has to chime in. The megan dp I have bolted right up to the stock o2, as I said just tightening the bolts was tough. I needed a stubby 19mm wrench and a 19mm crows foot. It bolted perfectly up to my ebay o2 also, and was a lot easier since this used bolts and not studs.

I actually had a pretty big issue with the fit of the Megan Racing dp to my stock o2 housing. The studs are way too close to the pipe and I really couldn't get the flange to mate up flush without it leaking. I got an EVO III o2 housing today and I'm gonna take a shot at installing it saturday. As far as the "weird angle", it seems to me that it's gonna help my situation. I hope I'm right!

Let me know how it turns out as I plan on going with my setup very soon. Especially seeing that Bush has passed that bill to give us that extra tax check. That will definetley be put to good use.

I'll be doing a turbo swap with mine :sneaky:
