Sounds like a simple problem, but here's the story:

Monday night my alarm remote starts beeping and indicates my driver's side door is open. I run out into the hall, look out the window, and no one is messing with my car. I needed to leave soon, so I go out to the car, do a once over - nothing is wrong. Get in the car and my dome light does not turn on upon opening the door. I tried using the switches that turn on the seperate dome light bulbs and nothing. When I turn on the car, my radio doesn't come on.

It's Thursday now and I've since replaced the fuses under the hood, pulled the radio - all the wires are attached/harness is fine. None of my interior lights work and the radio still won't work. Every time I lock my car with the remote, it beeps at me and says the driver's side door is ajar.

ANY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS!?!?!?!??!

hey ashley victor here check the fuse in the car under the drivers side. there should be a fuse
there that controls the dome lights, and the radio. ive blown mine plenty of times. check there and get back with me , 2gs do have a fuse box in the car right. Vic p.s check all the fuses under there.

It's actually the "radio" fuse that's located in the fuse box under the hood. It's in one of those tandem fuse blocks that's blown. Replace that fuse, and you'll get your interior lights, radio, and all the annoying beeping sounds you hear when your door is open. Haha...

This is an aftermarket alarm right?

Id start looking at the wires there.

Assuming you replaced the joint radio/interior light fuses, I would also say it's probably a problem with your alarm wiring. A lot of aftermarket alarms tap into the interior lights to alert you that your door is not closed properly.

Like I said, I already replaced that. (This is Ashleigh on pinder's account)

Im still going with its a problem with the alarm you have installed. I would run over those wires to make sure none are shorting out. If worse comes to worse, pull the alarm brain out, then if everything works, youll know what was causing the shorts.
