Hello everyone, I need some direct advice.
Sorry in advance if this has been answered before. (I really tried looking but couldn’t find a direct answer) Jon at TRE is currently building me a dogbox for my 2G and I’m expecting to get it in next month. My dsm is being built for road racing. On TRE’s website it says a single disk is recommended for that style of driving. Although a brief google search recommends a twin disk style clutch for any dogbox (which I know is not necessarily true). Being that it is a PPG gearbox that automatically changes the spline count (right?). If I do buy a single disk style clutch for a dogbox road race application which clutch is recommended? Also do I get a dsm style pp with an Evo 8 disk? I know some of you run single disks with your dog boxes already, so what setup do you use or recommend? The car is a race car being built for road racing, if that requires a twin disk then I’ll get that. But from what I can tell it’s not worth it. Anyways the car is a 7 bolt w a 2GB trans, hp and torque aren’t exactly equated yet as the motor has not been put in yet. But very rough ball park estimate 600hp ish and 500tq ish is what it’s estimated rn by my tuner to hit. Sorry if this a dumb question. I just need advice.
