I have a 1g that won't start sometimes whether it's hot or cold. If I let it sit for awhile it will start up. It has idle surge and eats a ton of gas. I have replaced the throttle body and all connecting sensors, O2 sensor and it smells like raw fuel if I keep cranking it over. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

well I ran it on the scan tool and it came up as a coolant temp. sensor. Also the fans don't turn on. Any idea which of the 4 sensors it is?

I had a bad coolant temp sensor which made my car start ruff and run kinda ruff with a CEL. Its in the Thermostat housing,

Also may want to pull the ECU and see what the board looks like. Bad ECu can cause the dumping of fuel and a no start condition.

I also suggest looking at the fuel injector insulators and o-rings, and to test your Idle Speed Control motor on the FAQ good luck
