Ok, im not even sure if this IS a problem. But here it goes anyways. (please look at all my mods in my profile first) All maintanence is completly up to date, all mod work i have done myself.

After running the car, driving around, what not, i notice the smell of GAS in the air. However its not really noticable in the car. But when i get out i can smell it, and i think its strongest from the exaust.

Seems to me like im just running a bit rich, correct? (A commom thing ive heard about on 2gnt about these cars). However i just want to pass it by you guys and make sure im on the right track and its possibly not a sign of something else. And if its indeed running a bit rich, then i believe an SAFC should easily correct this by mearly leaning the fuel out a bit (which i plan on buyig soon).

Anyways, thanks for any help guys.

Back that thing up on some ramps ,fire it up and get on your creeper to check the fuel tank and lines for leaks. Id hate to see the a55 end of that car engulfed in flames.

Negative, there are no leaks that ive found, nor spots on the ground. I checked all the lines just a few days ago when i did my suspension since it was on jacks anyways. The smell isnt present when the cars not running, just when its running (barely!) then its really noticeable when i shut the motor off for some reason. Once again its concentrated at the rear end...maybe theres a leak where the pump is under the rear seats? (i havent checked there yet, i should tomorrow though...)

that gasket can go bad. has the recall been done do you know?

The last owner is my manager, and always had it serviced at the dealership (he is rather wealthy). As for the actual recalls being done, ill ask him about that tomorrow morning. If not, then i guess im gonna print out a list of all the aplicable recalls on this model and take it in to the dealer.

Ummm, my car isnt mega modded or anything, but its definatly not stock anymore, Think there going to have a problem with that?

Thanks for the input guys, now at least i have a plan (and if its just running REAL rich....i guess ill need to get an SAFC sooner than i though...)
