Does this eliminate noisy lifters?

I was wondering if the Mobil One 105 oil filter got rid of noisy lifters. I read from this link http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-engine-fuel/152329-how-do-6-bolt-swap-what-you-need.html that it would get rid of "valve noise" but idk if he was referring to the lifters or what. Does this actually work, that would be pretty cool. Oh and he said about using royal purple oil 15w 40

Thinner oils help cold starts, thick oils just overall dampen more noise. It seems what works for one person does not help the next. You have to experiment to see what works for you, though its all just a bandaid really.

What does work is replacing your lifters with the revised design ones, and the oil port mod that is performed on the head.

Either ignore it because your car has probably been doing it since 50k miles and its basically normal, or go with revised lifters.

+1 oil port mod is supposed to work the best even without the revised lifters

Revised lifters are one of the best things i've done to my car. It ticked so badly in high school. Embarrassing...

ITM revised lifter are cheap and are reliable. and parts dinosaur sells them cheap and that's what i am using now.

Before you are fed misinformation or make assumptions, the term "3G" signifies the 3mm diameter oil ports on the revised lifters. These are not out of the third generation Eclipses.
