Does running a GM MAFT get rid of fuel cut?

The MAFT does have a switch that is supposed to eliminate feul cut, but if you are getting feul cut, simply switching it off is not fixing the problem.

yeah, fuel cut isnt really a bad thing, if you on yoru stock fuel setup and dont have any dataloging or anything then its best to not get rid of it. If you just cut it out with somethign like a maft and you dont have the support for the kinda boost that would normaly cause fuel cut your gonna mess stuff up.

Fuel cut is a bad thing.

The MAFT will not get rid of it. In fact, on the same setup, it will make it worse (because of greater airflow).

It does allow you to tune around it using larger injectors, the same way a SAFC does.

Perhaps it no longer applies to version 2.01 as it is no longer in the directions, but I am almost positive the earlier versions had some sort of feul cut "switch" on them. Though as stated above it's not an issue, simply turning it off isn't the correct way to deal with the issue.

2.0+ doesn't have the "feature" any more because a good tuner wouldn't use it, and a bad tuner could cause damage with it.
