Okay, I've been working on my car for the last couple of months... I have my fully built engine almost ready to go in (just needs a timming belt). But I have been battleing with getting my DSMLink to connect. I've been posting on the DSMLink forums but I'm still fighting this issue with out any luck... Well, today I was going to wire in my wideband and I came across this... Is it hacked, or is it normal? What do you guys think?

The grey electrical tape covering exposed wires has me thinking it may have been hacked... Maybe for an AFC? Although when I bought the car it was BONE stock down to the plastic BOV and intake box... I'm hoping that this is were my DSMLink problem is :|

My harness. I didn't take the gray tape off my harness, but I have before and found the plastic caps underneath.

Yea those are Factory, The plastic cover over the wire and the external ground shield are part of your normal sensor like the Knock and O2, But the part where the harness was bare?
Is that after you removed the loom?
