Does anyone know how to fix P/S cutout for 2G?

There used to be a VFAQ showing the procedure for fixing the power steering cutout for the 2G but the page has moved or can't be accessed anymore blah blah blah. Anyone have a write up on how do do this or w/e. I've only experienced the cutout one time and I have to say it scared the shit out of me but I'd just like to do the mod for the sake of it.

The best and cheapest fix is to learn to move your steering wheel slower without any jerky attempts. In most cases, even if your wheels would move as fast as you want them to go, it would just cause your traction in the front to go away!! If you learn it the correct way, you will be much safer and much faster too!!

Your call!!

Then again it may be a good idea to fix the problem, instead of just learning to deal with it.

Hehehe, the problem is not the pump, but you. You are the one trying to turn too fast to start with...

Good point! It took me years to learn that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
And I just did it again!
As a result of all the valuable knowledge on this forum, I used spare time last winter to get my DSM ready for AutoX, and have had a great time, both in my garage and recently on the course.
But I did this backwards, although I have owned the car since new, it has been "just a car" until now.
I am not sure which mods are helping me at the track, but I am going to reverse my power steering fix and try it out the way it came from the factory. I haven't experienced cut out, but have noticed that parking is more difficult than it was before I "fixed" it.
Thanks for all the info!
