Does anyone have the Fluidamper or the ATi damper for the 4G63....I bought the OEM one from slowboy...and was considering an underdrive set, but after reading various posts and articles I think I just want to go with a solid dampening unit, so I dont have to worry about seperation..

Both the Fluidampr, and the ATI are high quality peices. They both will take up all of the harmonic frequency's. I'd run one of them 1000X before I run a Unorthodox or equivalent.

The price tag is a lot, but when you look at them in your hand, you'll understand.

Thanks guys, I havn't used the one I bought yet, its still in the box, but I'm considering a bunch of mods including a stroker kit and I like to do things one time only if possible, so I think I'm going to upgrade.

Defiant that thread was what made me consider the upgrade, after reading the tech articles about the non-dampening crank pulleys, that lead me to the Fluidamper and ATi, My biggest consideration for this is that I'm thinking of keeping the stock motor mounts and not using eurythane ones, I recently got to ride in an eclipse with eurythane mounts (guy has 463 WHP) and you could feel the motor in that thing, even though I want more performance, I still want a lil bit of the luxury.

and my bad again on the wording, instead of saying solid, I should have said one piece.
