Do i need windows for tuning with ECMLink and innovate MTX-L Wideband?

Or can i use a macbook? idk how to open the software on the disc i'm not to good with computers can't figure out how to open it up on a macbook....

You can find a laptop pretty cheap now. It doesn't have to be anything high end, so you should be able to get one for around $150 (overestimating)

The DSMLink client is Java code. Double check with Tom and Dave but you should be able to run it on your Mac.

Sweet deal thanks brian i hope this works well when i get my ECU back and by the way do any of you know if i need to use innovate MTX-L wideband gauge software when im tuning??? i got a disc with my package and its like tuning software i think but can't get it to work on my mac. or can i just hook my wideband gauge up and calibrate it and be on my way with Air/Fuel ratio.

No, the CD is not necessary for logging the wideband. You just need to wire in the analog output to a certain ECU input. Then tell Link what input your using and what type wideband you have.
