So I'm getting ready to get DSM link for my car but just curious if I need a Specific one for my car, I have a 94 Talon TSi, its an Auto. The car currently has a Chip tune in the ECU.. So does that mean my ECU is already Socketed?

I have auto cars as well. I went a step further and installed a vacuum pump form an 01 a4. the brakes hold no matter what rpm/boost level reached. this is on my minivan with an fp t-28 and a stock converter.
before the a4 pump, I was only able to hold around 3800 rpm at 15 psi before I pushed through the brakes.

I agree with Chumpaumpalumpa. just experiment until you find the sweet spot unless you want to upgrade to a vacuum pump.
