I’m shooting for around 400whp and I’m wondering if I’ll need a built head or my stock head and block is good enough. I want to be over 400whp but under 450whp as I’ve heard that’s where a lot of stock parts start to break.

Stock head is fine for your goals. If you stay with stock cams you won't need better springs. We have went 11.5 on stock cams and head on my sons 95 Talon.

Okay nice, that will save me some money from buying cams, springs, retainers etc. What turbo would you recommend, what’s the cheapest option for a turbo. I’m using a fp racing manifold if that helps

A Bullseye Performance hot side and a Holset HX35 will get you where we were, as long as it gets enough fuel, so you would need a set of larger injectors but that is all we had.
Turbo, Injectors and ECMLink = 11 second 1/4 mile ET's. :thumb:

Will a fp green work?

Not with stock cams/retainers/intake manifold. You can’t rev past 7k. Won’t make any more power there anyways with the stock intake manifold. . I would at the very least get some 272 cams and upgrade your valve train. You can do that with the head on the car in a couple hours. And upgrade your head studs as well

IDK, I have never ran a Forced Performance turbo.
We were on stock everything except the 3 things I mentioned. He hurt the motor at the end of this run due to too much timing on E85.

Yeah it was me and just a phone. My GoPro died just as I started to film :banghead:
It was 11.5 and he let out before the lights because of the commotion going on under the hood. I think his trap was only in the 90's. I trap over 117 with a horrible 3.2 60'.
