Do I have a cyclone intake manifold here?

I've looked over a good bit of cyclone threads and none of them have answered my question yet. I just got an intake from a guy selling a ton of 1g parts but didn't really know what he had since it was given to him to pay off some debt. Anyway the intake says turbo intercooled like other cyclones but says eci multi which I haven't seen together. It also has the dual runner setup as well. So since it doesn't say cyclone I'm just confused if it in fact is or isn't. So what intake do I have here? I can post a pic if I can't get an answer without one. Thanks guys.

Usually cyclones say cyclone on them.

Well it's not that hard to tell a 1g 2g and cyclone apart...1g's are pretty large, with large ports and a 60mm intake opening for the tb..And it has a stamp to the right of the tb..

2g's look much better designed with smaller ports and smaller 52mm tb opening..

Cyclones usually say cyclone on them..They come in polished and non polished..I have pictures of a cyclone and 1g manifold..If you can't tell them apart..

I beleive the turbo intercooled ones might have been another version of the cyclone..The one I have pics of says cyclone and is polished..

I have one that does NOT say Cyclone in it and as log as it has a butterfly valve or a actuator on the side it's a cyclone manifold.

Here are the pics. It does look like these may be. I did a search for cyclone intake manifold pics and saw only 3-4 that had the eci multi on them instead. Correct that most of them do seem to say cyclone though. So I assume problem solved unless anyone has anymore input or know exactly what kind of car these come from compared to the more common jdm cyclones.

Yes, that is a cyclone intake manifold. Not all cyclones say "cyclone" on them, as you have found. But you can tell by the divided runners and the actuator near the coil pack.

I'm kinda curious about this manifold, as well.... might have to give that guy a pm.. could be something interesting to mess around with next summer.

I know the SVT Contours and some of the late 90's Escorts ran a split intake, as well. Seems like a neat idea for a street car as long as you have the ECU to control it. (..i.e. dsmlink.. from what I've read)

No such thing. You'd have to mod the Cyclone or the head to have it fit properly.

If you want a good, affordable 2g manifold, look for an Evo 3/RVR.

There are no 2g cyclone intake manifolds..So on a 2g the intake ports should be ported to match the 1g manifold..

But like Brian said an evo3 manifold will work wonders..And will give you the chance to use a 1g tb as well..

I have done the homework, Cyclones come off Galant vr4's in Japan, ECI Multi Port is the Cyclone off the JDM Gvr4 Evolutions

And what eve exactly did they come off of? All evos are 7-bolts and galants are 6-bolts. But from my understanding all evos have small ports like the 2g eclipse.

6 bolt motor..Basicaly evo 1-2 motor...6 bolt I'm pretty sure.. Evo 3 motor-2g 7 bolt..
