Do All TSi AWD/GSXs have LSDs?

This is just a curious question, it applies mainly to 2nd gens. I was wondering if all AWD DSMs came equipped with LSD? I was told not all of them do, but I could swear every AWD DSM I've seen has the little LSD warning sticker.

i have heard it was an option from the factory but i have NEVER seen or heard of a 2G without a rear LSD

90s didnt have LSD at all
the 91s with ABS did not have LSD
From 92 on all DSMs had LSD

You sure about that bud? My 1990 TSi awd has it. My cool warning sticker states "WARNING! This car is equipped with a viscous type rear limited slip differential...etc"

Where's the sticker?

The sticker is located on the driver side, on the door jam..next to the mitsubishi or DSM sticker.

Ditto. 90 and 91"s you could only have one or the other, not both. 92 and up you could have both

there have been a few reported "factory freaks" that rolled out "accidentally" with LSD and ABS in the 1ga's. however by the options it was not supposed to happen due to some probelm integrating the LSD and abs.
after 92 you could have both...

I've never seen a warning sticker in the door jamb on my TSi AWD... but I am pretty confident it has one. is there a tab on the dif like on some other chryslers?

yeah on the back of the differential (if your lucky and it hasnt been worn off) its says like viscious lsd or something to that affect that will tell you if you have the lsd or not, my 90 had it and now so does my 92 with the abs.

If I recall when I purchased my car in 97...My 98 GSX had a limited slip differential. I think the option was for a center slip diff.
